If you spent any time in landlords tenant court, you would see the laws actually favor the tenants 99% of the time. Judges are very reluctant to evict a tenant, even if that tenant has withheld rent for 6 months or more.

I find it troubling that you think LLs are vermin of the earth. If you hate being a tenant, why don you just buy your own place and call it a day?
