It was her choice to use money orders. It was also her choice where she got the money orders and how much she paid for them as the prices can vary between the supermarket, bank, post office, etc money orders. She had different options available to her to make payment that would not cost her money. If she used personal checks was she expecting you to pay for her to order personal checks from her bank?

Have you posted a Pay or Quit notice for the balance of your rent? Post one today. Then follow it with an eviction notice for nonpayment of rent.
