Yes, my current tenant advised me of the new job in early April. Her lease expires end of this month and she is in the process of moving. My unit will be vacant by July 1st.

I had the ad online since the day she advised me she was leaving. I didn't get much interest because my ad said the apartment won't be vacant until June/July. The interest is just starting to pick up now, but I am shocked at the poor qualtiy of interested tenants that contact me, and fail to read the requirements in my ad. I don't think they understand that the demand is higher than the supply - especially in my area of the country (suburb of major metropolitan area with multiple mass transit options).

I am baffled!

It is not just the attitude when they call. It is the way they conduct every aspect of thier lives. That is why they rent instead of buy, get laid off often and buy their cars at the used car lot and have children outside of marriage. Its a "lifestyle."

Ugh tell me about it I just got a call from another prospective tenant who requested I TEXT her the address of the apartment!! Seriously?? You can't write it on a piece of paper yourself??? I can see these morons are stuck renting for the majority of their sad lives. UGH.

Why make a big deal? Texting is the way they do it these days. I do it now...it makes sense. Why not just be flexible and text them? And yes, when you are busy, writing something down is a pain and texting is easier.

Talk about snooty !Why do you rent when you look down on your tenants ! Without them you would not be a LL and your homes wold be vacant and in foreclosure, and good greif ~ you could become one of them ~ renting !!!! You are a very snooty-----. WOW. Im sickened
