Unlawful Detainer forms by KD (Arkansas) on June 5, 2012 @18:10

Do I have to have a lawyer file an Unlawful Detainer complaint? I went to the courthouse and they told me I could file there but had to get the paper work from an attorney. Wondering if that is correct since I've read you should be able to get it at the court house.

Typically, the clerk at the small claims desk has forms for your use. If not, you can probably do a state-specific search for the forms on-line.

In Washington state you have to get them at superior court and ask for an eviction kit- If you went to civil or small claims court here they wouldnt know what you were talking about. Costs 45.00 You can also order them on line- do google serch for eviction kit for your state.
