Potential Tenant with military background

Hi,

I do see some application form asking information if the applicant are military or veterinarian etc. I just wondering is there anything special to have tenant with military background? I am having a candidate who is retired soldier with good credit score and stable income of course. Just wondering is there anything special for them as tenant? Many thanks,

Just be aware that if your tenant is active military, you are subject to the Soldiers & Sailors Act and the tenant can break a lease with military relocation orders.

Is it legal to ask if someone is a veterinarian? Maybe you mean veteran?
