Hi, I have a related questions. When landlord give tenant 24 hours notice about access the property e.g showing the property to prospective tenants, it is hard to put it in paper. Particularly when showing the house and I locate remotely, even though having a local helper, but still it is convenient to inform current tenant in email or texting. Is that ok? Also any suggestion on best way to inform tenant about showing the property? Thanks,
A notice to enter should be posted on the door expecially if you believe the renter may not be present when you will be entering. Email the notice to your local helper and ask him to deliver it in person. If your tenant is not home, ask that it be posted on the door and follow up with a phone call. If your tenant can not be reached by phone you may enter anyway because your notice has been properly posted.
