Re: Do i have to pay rent if there is no working A/C ? by NY-LL on June 12, 2012 @11:15

If the State of Indiana applies the provision of a "reasonable" standard to repair an air conditioner. Then is it "reasonable" to expect the landlord to repair the air conditioner in the winter, spring or fall, or wait to repair the air conditioner in the summer months when air conditioning is in use?

When did the landlord advise the air conditioner would be repaired?
It is not quite air conditioning season in the State of Indiana, yet the tenant complains?

Tenant reports outside temps of 90 degrees. A reasonable person would repair the AC at those temps.
