Get estimates for the damage to repair. Send them a notice if you know where they are. IF you can't find them file a complaint with the magistrate. In all likely hood they won't show up. When the judge finds in your favor, put a lean against them from the damages, back rent, late fees and court costs. Then when they go to buy something like a car it shows they have a lean against them. I know a PA LL who did this and 2 yrs after the lean was place on T they showed up at his house and paid what they owed in full. The LL waited til the check cleared the bank then went to have the lean removed. Took 2 yrs but they did pay.
