Yeah, I'm also very confused at this inquiry. The wife is a Doctor and has a huge outstanding school loan. Considering they generally go to school for 8+ years, I would think the loan amount is reasonable. Additionally, other expenses normally come first, expecially when school loan rates have recently been extremely low. I know my old school loan that I paid off last year was 1.875%. That's practically free money.
