Yes you do, take your money on Friday and serve them a vacating notice, not sure what your State calls for {30 day, 60 days, etc} check on the right side of the screen. Be prepared for monetary issues next month as well {especially if you provided with a non renewing notice and they need to "save money to move"} so, next month, just be prepared and don't wait for 13 days to be late, just start the eviction process. Because the way the law works, if the utilities are under your name, you are on the hook for them, and you are also on the hook for keeping them on, as ridiculous as it may sound. Next tenant, you know what to do, utilities need to be switched when they move in, this will save you a lot of trouble!
