Yea.. because I knew my job would transfer me. I mean, I'm also just leaving the landlord high and dry and out thousands of dollars. Oh wait, no... he's actually making out $3,000 the richer because I'm moving. If he wasn't gaining that much off of my move, I would absolutely mitigate his damages and let him keep the full security deposit. I'm not about to let a man lose money because of my job transfer. Apparently I should just pay him the remainder of the year I have left, because I agreed to that too.
