that is part of the issue. The tenant moved on out 1/31/2012, with lease ending 3/31/12. Final walk through done after move out. The 45 day period for filing for damages expired, and she is after 2x her security deposit back plus additional. We have reached a settlement amount, but want something to release us from any additional.

Michigan timeline was not followed, which opened us up to refund 2x security deposit.
