I'd say they are responsible since it is obvious BS. If they are not willing to pay, I would deduct it out of their security or raise the rent to cover it over a year or two.

That is funny! But yes I call BS they have done a few other things two but I really would like to just evict but not sure I have grounds to. They are not whiling to take the responsibility to fix it, they also went to Cabo and left it un atended for almost 2 weeks.
