I have talked to him. Plenty of times. If you read other posts, you'll see he's stated this cleaning is just due to "normal wear and tear". I've asked him to provide proof of the necessity of the work by pictures or other means, but he just says he doesn't have any proof, nor is any required for "normal wear and tear". He told him every time a tenant moves out, they pay for carpet cleaning, maid services, and painting work. I'm his first tenant, so apparently I got stuck with the bill. How can you not see this as unreasonable?

And my reason for coming to a landlord site was stated in the initial post. If you can't comprehend why I came to a landlord site, you need to go back to 5th grade. I hear they're starting back up next month.

Schools usually begin the school year in September not August which is next month. You may wish to join the other poster then. I believe children learn the months of the year in 1st grade.

No so................we start beginning of August here in Georgia and go to the end of May.
