It was broken from outside only the outer pane was shattered. The whole in the slider was waist level to me and I ma 5'2. The super bird had to have flown through chairs then cushions then into the window. The mom told me her son threw the bird over the fence and the dad says it flew away. The younger (15) son says my brother has anger management issues i am sure he kicked it. I have a really great pic of the window wish I could attach it. No feathers no blood no bird, I was there the day it happened, about 3 hours after taking pics.

There was a dog to rubber tire tied to a rope laying close to the window, whish I got a pic of that :/

The best part is that the son posted it on Face Book and this is how I found out!
