I can see you have never rented to a lawyer. This forum is littered with stories from landlords who lived to regret renting to lawyers. They are not a protected class and should be passed over. A lawyer tenant will not finish up his lease without getting into your pocket...in a legal kind of way of course. Besides, what kind of a lawyer rents anyway?
