This is a good suggestion. Along with it there should be wording to the effect that the landlord is again making an offer again to repair the AC whenever the tenant will allow access. The landlord should keep a copy and send the letter by receipted certified mail. If the letter returns, it should be left unopened in the case that a small claims Judge needs to open it.
