IL state law requires anyone with more than 4 rental units in IL must process Sec.8 housing as a rental applicant; whether they qualify is something different.
but if you own more tan 4 rental units you cannot state "no I don't accept sec.8"
if you own less the proper response is" at this time I am not considering sec.8 housing vouchers as a source of payment towards rent"

It is the responsibility of the person who says there is such a law to be able to cite that law. I am not going to waste my looking for a law that I am confident does not exist.
