Re: direct tv installation

I haven't touched it, why would I damage my own property? They installed it using a metal plate on the bedroom wall about eye level. I have elevated it as far as DirectTv would allow; they will not give me any information because I'm not the customer. Of course I'm livid with the tenants, but they are deadbeats and DirecttV is a legitimate company who would not budge and wouldn't even entertain my request for a copy of the paperwork that someone signed. They installed it wrong, but they told me the tenants need to call them to move the equipment because they are the customers.

You've elevated it as far as you can? Obviously not. You must not be very persuasive. I wanted one of my dishes moved from a previous tenant and had someone out the next day. How? Just told them the new tenants were going to hook it up and I wanted it moved before they got there. Total lie, but they saw $ signs of a new tenant to sign up. They had me fax over proof of ownership and they were out less than 24 hours later. Just have to know the way to their hearts, sweetpea.
