Well sure, if it was up to the tenant, they'd ask for a $10,000 professional class Viking stove.

Link to GoogleShopping for "gas kitchen stove";

Wow, way to throw the baby out with the bath water there. I'm just saying, no tenant is going to be excited about a 20 year old stove, no matter how you dress it up. You're like the used car salesman that says "The old grandpa who owned this car before only drove it to the store and back!" Who cares? The car is 15 years old, I don't care if it only has 45,000 miles on it.

So you can't research on the internet with a damn. That's your own fault. I said look at sears.com and search for gas ranges. Do they not have Sears in Michigan? Does everything need to be shipped to where you live? You're obviously going to pay way too much for shipping from an internet site for a huge stove. If that's your choice to pay 40% more for delivery, so be it. Give me your zip code and I can find you a new stove under $400 delivered, guaranteed.

    I'm not disagreeing, I'm only saying that there is no reason to throw out a perfectly good stove (other then the color).
    You guys are making it sound like it's some hunk of junk from the 1940's held together with twisty-ties and duct tape…

    Kenmore 30'' Freestanding Gas Range = $450 w/ delivery.

      If you're getting new fridge and stove anyways, get nicer stainless steel ones for $200 or so more total and raise your rent $25-$50 per month. People will pay it. Guaranteed. Something about stainless steel that attracts people.
