Accessing damages to the magistrate of the courts by Rob (NC) on July 11, 2012 @07:30

Please advise seeking to file eviction papers to the courts. Tenants failed to pay rent and cause damages with all type of trash on the property is a site inspection advisable to assest the damages or will it be too confrontational? Tenants still at the home.I am interested in putting a cost on the damages when I proceed to file the eviction notice to the courts. Lastly payorquit was submitted with no reply. Please advise

I'd stay out of the unit if you are filing for eviction. If you get a protenant judge then they could claim harassment even though it would be bogus... You can't really assess damages until the tenant has vacated anyways.
