No. You cannot evict them for wanting notice of when you will be entering their home.

Almost ALL states require a landlord to give notice before entering. It ranges from 1-2 days usually depending on your state. Also, most states only allow the LL to enter or inspect under certain conditions not just based on paranoia or OCD. A weekly inspection is too much.

Your lease cannot trump state law on notice requirements.

You are lucky that all that happened to you is that you got yelled at

What you are doing can be regarded as harassment and entitle the tenants to breaking the lease legally without penalty.

I highly suggest you read up on your state's LL/tenant laws. Even if you do not agree with them, you have to follow them. If the laws are unacceptable, do not rent anymore.

I do not accept any law that says I can't check in on my own property when I want to. I lived there for 25 years. It's MY HOUSE! I'll just have to get them out of there and rent to tenants who can understand how to READ!

    You are wrong. A lease cannot legally permit someone to give up their rights granted to them by the state or the federal government.

    You're one sicko if you check weekly. What are you doing? Checking the underwear drawers too? It's sick to be that enmeshed in doing this.

    You have to follow your state laws about access, no matter what the lease says. If push comes to shove, and in many states, an unauthorized person unexpectedly found in the house would be meeting my friend, Sig.

    No judge or court in all of the United States will grant you an eviction order based on the illegal clause in your lease.

    Trying to evict a tenant for insisting you follow the letter of the law is retaliation and will end up with you giving your tenants money for damages.

    If you decided to force them out without a court order by trying to enter the home without permission or suspending services, you will find yourself in the back of a police car.

    Your tenants would be just as happy to have a landlord who does not sneak over to "inspect" all the time. Just what is it that requires so much inspection anyway? Have you ever found something.
