I am glad the Attorneys won your case. I for one thought your LL was completely irrational when you first posted. Like Bunny said not all LL are bad ~ I can tell by the posts the ones I would not want to deal with. We are NOT all made from the same mold. Thank God. We have sold several of our rentals over the years and FYI ~ Some buyers are pre-approved and the sale has closed in less than 2 weeks. Not uncommon.

In a small town, in an unpopulated state, such as the State of Washington, it may be possible to close within two weeks. However, it is highly unlikely that the bank property inspection and closing transactions can be concluded within a two week window -- thirty days is the normal quick turnaround. Nonetheless, if you choose to believe the information posted then it is understandable.

It is difficult to believe that an individual is able to initiate or manage (i) a small claims dispute related to a security deposit in one town, (ii) transfer and relocate a new work location in another town, (iii) close on a new home property and unpack and settle into a new property, and (iv) still have time to post undocumented comments not supported by state law, under an incendiary name, all within two weeks. It is not even at all possible because the laws in the State of Minnesota are inconsistent with the OP’s statements. The belief in anything posted makes it clear why so many landlords are unable to manage their tenants or maintain the condition of their properties.

"in an unpopulated state, such as the State of Washington"

Washington State ranks 13th in population.

Why do you believe that it is an unpopulated state? You just make up things?

To paraphrase (for clarification), “In a small state like the State of Washington, in an unpopulated town in the State of Washington …,” unlike the major metropolitan cities of Atlanta, Georgia - Chicago, Illinois - Los Angeles, California - Miami, Florida - New York, New York, (even the Twin Cities of Minnesota claimed by the OP), etc. While Seattle, Washington has boosted in rank because of Microsoft Corporation, the State of Washington is not considered to be a major first tier metropolitan …

Nonetheless, WHAT BANK -- even with a pre-approved buyer -- prepares for property appraisals, property inspections, and mortgage closings within two weeks? Please advise, unless yet another landlord believes the OP.
