Where you can remove a door, I'd use the other kind of stripper and do it in a well venillated area. Stuff I used was good, but terrible smelling and wear gloves. I did some cupboard doors and did the project in the garage.

I've used the gel stuff, but takes longer for it to work. (but I used it when the stuff came out so may have improved.) It works good for vertical surfaces you can't remove. Wear a mask and open a windown if you are concerned whether the paint is lead.
