Hi Eloise. Yes, I'm the lady with the basement flood, the Chow attack, and the non English speaking tenants.

We may have to just get rid of these people and start over. There's a definite sense of "better the Devil you know", but this is just getting silly.

You make an excellent point about the mold issue. I don't want my house ruined because these people want to save a few bucks on ac costs. I will have to check the humidity over there and see.

They are mtm now. We could get rid of them for any reason with 60 days notice. For personal reasons, we just can't handle the upheaval right now, but I will be looking forward toward March. I will be inspecting now in September and March, and if things are not better by March, they will be getting a 60 day notice to be out by the end of May so we can get it rerented in the good months.

Thanks for all the great replies. It's good to know my experience is reasonable. I especially appreciate the reference to the news articles I can show them since they think I'm just a cheap landlord blowing smoke.

Thanks,

Kim
