This is my 1st T. What are the steps to screening & how much will it cost me?

GO online and pick a credit check service and or see LPA services on website. Charge tenant for credit check and get their signature on app saying you can run one. Return credit check fee if you dont end up renting to them provided all the info they provided was truthful

You will need a criminal background check from a service like publicdata.com It will be uncommon to find a tenant who does not have a criminal background or credit problems.
