You will need a criminal background check from a service like publicdata.com It will be uncommon to find a tenant who does not have a criminal background or credit problems.

Most people do not have criminal backgrounds. As to credit, it is a matter of degree.

Most people do not have criminal backgrounds? That is because most of us are not renters. About credit...Those of us who pay our bills have more than a degree of credit.
