Talk to Salvation Army, they can give you references to community and church groups who provide emergency financial assistance for rent and utilities, usually on a one-time basis. So what have you been paying rent with up to now? Why can't you pay the August rent with the same funds you always have used? You should be on foodstamps, too, if your income is limited, that way you don't use the rent money to buy food.
