Whether the landlord is sued, or whether the lease agreement is viewed by the court, is generally not dependent upon the landlord. The tenant may dispute the lease agreement which will require scrutiny by a court or legal department. The tenant may file a property complaint with a government agency or department which will require scrutiny by a court or legal department.
