Interesting ad --in Cali by Anonymous on July 24, 2012 @18:57

Maybe it's all that sunshine in So Cal... yesterday, I viewed an ad on-line for a couple of people looking for a roommate to live in the "studio" they have in the back of their house. The "studio" is a separate building.

The ad goes on to say that the only downside is that the new roommate will have to come into the house to use the bathroom and the kitchen.

Hmmmmmm.

Seems like a garage to me! Seems like it's illegal to me! But the price is right and so happy happy here in lala land.

Interesting.

Not really interesting.

Illegal garage conversion rentals are a dime a dozen in Los Angeles.

In Wa state it is illegal to live in a garage or any building that does not have a bathroom or running water. We found this out when my druggie brother kept moving into my moms garage with his friends. The police dept got involved and told mom of this and that is she continued to let him do this he would be arrested. He and several others were arrested and lots of drug paraphamalia found. Thsnk you God that he is now clean and sober over a year~ life is much better ~ but in Washington state and I would think in any state you cant rent if there is no running water or toliet.
