LL WINS IN SMALL CLAIMS?

Successfully won a verdict on a tenants who has not pay July rent $800.00 rent pro-rated at $667.00 for 25 days. LL claimed $2,500.00 damages carpets, walls, stove, screen door, locks ect... no court cost paymnt to LL $153.00 Not given Judge did not rule Tentant got off easy. Please share your views. I feel this Magistrate Judge was Bias? Can a Magistrate be reported? Please advise.

Perhaps damages need to be filed in another court. In my state, LL/Tenant court is a division of small claims court but only handles evictions and possessions. Damages and monetary compensations needs to be pursued in another part of civil court.

Can barely make any sense of your post. My guess would be if you were not awarded damages it's because you did not provide evidence sufficient to prove the damages.
