after 30 days by need to know (pa) on July 30, 2012 @03:38

After property possession is returned to LL, in PA, & court rules LL must wait 30 days & send registered letter to inform evicted T that they have that time period to take whatever they left behind . . . if they choose not to take "stuff" is LL allowed to trash it after the 30 day period?

Yes, you must store their possessions for 30 days after the keys are returned. Then you may toss them.

the 30-day law doesn't to into effect until perhaps September 5th or 8th - not sure - reread it about being required to send teh registered letter - I don't think it's required in all cases - the law determines your course of action by "how" possession is returned to you. Also, it discusses storage of their possessions.

Doesn't your lease address this? it should contain a much shorter time frame.
