You all are wrong. Evictions stay on your credit for 7 years. In most cases, you can call the prior renter and have them submit a memo to the new renters stating the circumstance. Do your research before you get possibly uninformeds not knowing the process

Sure they're there on teh court docket, but in many cases, you aren't associated with them by an identifiable piece of info. For instance, they're quite possibly NOT on your credit report. they're on your housing report at the courthouse.
