No... you can post the "cure or quit" today. State that the gf is not a legal tenant and must move out in 3 days. Do not even get into the argument about if she is or isn't living there, you have all the proof you need.

Include a letter "eviction ramifications" with the "c or q" notice.

My guess is that the tenant will be moved out before you get through a court room and get the eviction order from a judge anyway. But...it will sure encourage him to get out of there quick. After all, the notice you are going to post is a "Cure or QUIT"...meaning he can move out to solve the problem or throw the gf out. So, maybe you get lucky and he gets gone fast.

As Katiekate said, and since you gave him notice already this will just get him to understand you really did mean it.
I would still do the c or q notice. This should help him to understand he really does have to move out.
