Wolverine brand offers solid brass faucets at least 1/3 less than Delta. My plumbing house recommended Wolverine, so I installed one at my home, and have been very happy with it.

My local plumbing supply company carries them in the showroom. They showed us a Wolverine side-by-side with a comparable Delta faucet. The Wolverine was nicer (both weight and looks), and cost over $100 less. There is also an online catalog at Wolverinebrass.com.
