Hi, Bill - those tenants are the one's making so much problems with noise and so on two weeks ago. Now, they are requiring me to give them a receipt of the rent payment the same day they pay the rent. They do NOT want to wait for the mail next day - they want it the same exact day - so I will have to drive to the house and deposit the receipt in their mail box. You have a picture of how demanding they are. I will do it anyway. (tell me why in the world I renewed their lease !)

Do they mail the check to you? I wouldn't drive out to do that if they are mailing the rent to you...

how can they "require" you to drive to their house? You are voluntarily doing so. I don't want to be rude but grow a back bone and speak up for yourself.

One day the check will bounce and they will have a receipt. Stop letting these people control you. Explain that it is not always possible for you to drive the receipt out.
If it gets too much for you to bear you may tell them that you will let them out of the lease without penalty if they want to move in the next two weeks. Set a date. Do not leave it open ended. The time and date for them to move is yours...not theirs. Explain that you know they are unhappy living there and that you would not blame them if they moved out. When you start coming back at them with this it should slow them down.
Above all, stop letting these people bully you.

It's OK to say "No." Tenants may try to test your limits. Keep a few handy phrases ready to use: I am not comfortable with that. I'll need to think that one over. I'll have to get back to you.
