rent receipt

The tenants are paying the rent by bank check and she want me to bring a rent receipt in her mailbox the same day. Is this a normal procedure ?

Why not hand it to her when she hands you the check? If it's by mail, then no, that is not normal.

I have one tenant who deposits the rent directly into my bank account. My credit union will not give him a receipt because it's not his account. when I see on line that he's paid the rent, I mail him a receipt the same or next day...
Personally, I think my tenant is nuts for doing this without a receipt but he's comfortable enough with it.
As for your tenant, why not just say no, you're not bringing it over and mail it ... where I live, mail still gets delivered the next day.

the check is her receipt. Or she can make a copy of it.
