What can you expect in court. You can expect a fair hearing and you can expect to win. Bring all the bills, receipts and the like for all the damages. Not just the ones you charged off on the deposit. Ask for the additional cost in court.

You cannot "ask for the additional cost in court"

There is the concept of the "four corners". Anything outside of the scope of the proceedings exceeds the "four corners". So..if you want more money..you must notify the other party and the court in advance so that the proceedings expand to include the additional cost. In other words..counter file, and do it within the deadline for the tenant to receive proper notice BEFORE court.
