My property is haunted

I recently bought an building with 6 units. Now two of the tenants from different units are telling me the building is haunted by a child and has been for some time. There is no record of a child dying in the building so do I have to mention this in the lease? This was not disclosed to me at the time of the sale. Can I sue the previous owner?

I have a tenant who is complaining about the same thing. She said that she was sitting on her sofa and watched her fireplace mantle clock "throw itself off the shelf and shatter on the floor." She said there is weird noises and things moving. I have owned this building for 12 years with no complaints. I offered to let her out of her lease (don't want her building this up with the other tenants) and she said no. Case closed.

Here's a link to the Lease/Rental Disclosure Chart prepared by the California Association of Realtors to assist you in including all disclosure required by law -- haunting is not among them.

I would call Ghostbusters (the Larry Storch / Forrest Tucker version from the 1970's TV show; more affordable than Bill Murray and friends).
