Tenant proposal - Landlord Forum thread 323114

Tenant proposal by Phillis on August 20, 2014 @09:49

MY PROPERTY IS IN BROOKLYN

I asked my tenants to move in June with official paperwork. They refused to move-we have a month to month.

Have been to court twice and they threw out the usual we need more time plea. Now we have a date set for Sept 3.

They just made an offer to move out so they dont get a judgement against them.

My question is if I go to court Sept 3 and get a judgement how much longer can they stay?

Also I reported them here as bad tenants is there any where else I can alert landlords?
thanks

Just what kind of offer did your tenant make? If you stop your action against them there is not guarantee they will move. Keep moving through the courts.
