There seems to be a common theme in excerpts from this weeks tenants pre-screening emails from my website:

“i will treat it like my own home and take good care of it”
And with a 575 credit score you won’t be taking care of my house.

“and we will take excellent care of your house”
Your current place has a ton of stuff stored all around the front and sides of the house; car wheels, basketball stand, big bags of top soil, a broken cabinet in the driveway, 2 big water drums, miscellaneous junk, etc, etc. No thanks.

“we have also taken really good care of the house like it was ours”
Yeah and your current place has all dead grass and the weeds are two to three feet high and there is a smashed pick up truck in the driveway. Trashy.

They are trying to sell me on them as tenants despite their unacceptable credit scores. No sale.

Do you also get a lot who want to tell you how honest and religious the are?

Yes, but did they answer your pre-screening questions? My guess would be no. As for their asking if it makes a difference that they're Christians, it does to me because I'm not and don't need a bunch of judgmental hypocrites around.
