Yes. Check your lease...he can probably show the property to prospective tenants while you are still there too. It's his property. If he's given you notice to vacate or you are being evicted, he certainly is allowed to advertise it for rent by putting up a sign or putting ads on Craigslist, in the local papers, etc.
