Bill, I believe there IS something she can do about it. Realtors have to be licensed by the state and also they have a code of ethics they must abide by or consequences can ensue. This realtor's behavior is not kosher and I think the realtor could get into trouble if this gal wants to push it. I hope she does; the realtor sounds like scum.

The Realtor designation is a private, membership that a state-licensed salesperson or broker may or may not join. Substantial dues are involved. There should be a state agency for the licensing of real estate people for handling complaints and license violations. File a complaint there first. If the person is a salesperson, you file your complaint also on the supervising broker's license.
