Thank you for your reply. We did write a letter. This was the response: "I will be blocking your emails. I really would get an attorney. You may contact us by USPS but we will not read your emails."

Hi Tina, Yes, when I say writing a letter, I mean just that. A letter, on paper, sent by the USPS with a stamp on it. :) Emails are pretty much worthless in a case like this. Send your letter via certified mail, signature required, return receipt. When you get the return receipt, with the realtor's signature, keep it as evidence for the small claims court. Print out copies of your emails to them and their replies also and keep them as evidence.

I went back to the unit and the lady was very nice. I informed her I am not trying to seek the apartment she is living in but only want the landlord to not harm my credit and stop asking me for the monthly rent. I informed her if I could get here name and lease information on when approved and when she moved in then I could include in a letter to realtor. She completely understood and provide me with the information. ...So today I wrote the letter and was about to drop in the mail in the morning...but I received this message in an email this afternoon from the Realtor... "You really need to speak with a real attorney. Your behavior and fake legal-speak is very sad. Your security deposit is non-refundable. You are required to pay rental. You seem to want to harm yourselves by fighting over language when I will release you from rental payments. Additionally, you are now trespassing and harassing our tenants. Here is my promise...I asked my tenant not to call the police-this time only! Next time you will be picked up.I will be seeking damages for breach of lease in court.Something is seriously wrong with you or you have too much time and too little integrity.Get professional advice.If you want to waste even more time and energy have an attorney call me. I am an attorney, as I said from the beginning." Well... I cant figure this out for the life of me why she thinks I did them wrong when its me who lost the deposit and now her saying she is taking me to court. Any thoughts?
