I agree with KK. When tenants make claims to get out of their lease, I require proof of the claim.

Tell her to provide you with a copy of the police report and you'll consider it. A raid would generate a police report.

If she is being honest, she should have no qualms about offering proof.

Most tenants don't think a landlord will ask for proof.
