If you provide a source, then your statement will be accepted as valid. If there is no source, then your statement is the same as the vast majority of your advice on here...opinion.

You would accept my statement as valid? You do not know what a comfort that would be to me because I would value your Anonymous blessing ever so much.

To the anon who questioned Bill's "source" of info. Bill may have been wrong. It was probably #11 on the list. Would you have accepted his statement as "valid" if he would have said it was in the top 100, and sited his source as the IRS of the USA ?? OF COURSE IT WAS HIS OPINION !! Don't be so technical.

G, he is stating that a business owner doing their own taxes is a red flag for an audit by the IRS.

The point I was trying to make was that this is not true and is bad advice unless he can provide a source for his information.

Actually, I was wrong in my initial statement that this was opinion. It's not an opinion. It's an INCORRECT statement he is presenting as a "fact."

Mr. Anonymous...it was clear that the poster did not know how to prepare his business taxes. To further complicate the matter he is asking advice from the internet...Blind leading the Blind. My suggestion to hire a CPA to prepare his taxes was good advice. His taxes were sure to get kicked out by the IRS filter and looked at more closely. Mistakes were a high likelihood.

What the hell is your problem anyway?
