Oh my god, such insanity over light bulbs in this thread. Why make things so difficult for you and your tenants over LIGHT BULBS of all things? Here it is in a nutshell:

1.) All light fixtures should have working bulbs prior to tenant move-in.

2.) All light fixtures should have working bulbs when the tenant moves out. Tenant is responsible for this.

3.) Why bother with expensive bulbs that you want to ding your tenants for if they are burned out/broken/stolen, etc. Skip the LEDs and the CFLs. WHO CARES??!!?!? Put in standard bulbs and if the tenant wants to change them out to save money, leave it on them.
