One thing you can do is ask for the copy of their current lease they are under. If they do not have one or can not provide one, then that is a big red flag...

Also ask for current utility bills in the applicant's name to document address.
Ask for a current pay stub, call employer's Personnel/Human Resources Department.

Also same with their current utility bills in their name and current pay stubs then call PERSONNEL/HUMAN RESOURCES. You get 5 stars for this answer!
