I was being sarcastic about the 9-1-1 call. I was thinking about putting " LOL " or "Ha Ha Ha " behind it, but didn't. I learned 30 years ago that it didn't pay me to put in W/D's in my places because there are too many moving parts on both of them----a lot more than stoves or refriges, and some Ts abuse them by over loading them, which causes them to break down more often than stoves or refriges. And it's really hard to tell if by including the W/D , how much more rent you can get VS not supplying them. Now, coin op ones are a bit different. They are built heavy duty to begin with, and bring in money EVERY time they are used. They work great in apartment complex settings, but not so much in SFHs, where payback/break even is maybe 10 years VS about 2 years in a complex setting.
