I am just wondoering if any of the other private landlords give their tenants anything for Xmas. Like a tray of cookies, or something else.

I never have before but my 12 year tenants started babysitting their 3 year old granddaughter this year. I have a garage on this property for my own use so I'm over there quite a bit. She always comes to the fence and talks to me and sometimes I've got to go into her little play house and "have lunch" with her. She sings for me. She shows me stuff. We talk about all kids of stuff. Absolutely adorable little girl. This is a sfh and these folks don't know any of my other tenants. I got her a gift.

We have been buying Christmas presents for only the children in our SF rental for over 25 years. We spend $5.00 on each child. You would be surprised at what you can pick up for $5.00. Nice presents, not junk. The 2 year old boy in our rental this year is receiving a toy shaving kit. The kit has a plastic bic shaver with a can of superman shaving cream and comb. Really cute.
